Laleh (persian: لاله) is the national flower of Iran and Turkey and has a profound effect on the culture of both countries. But the impact of this interest on the art of the two countries has been different. In Turkish culture, the painted image of this flower is often seen in Turkish artwork, but in Iran, Laleh, as the most famous wild flower, has penetrated and appeared in Persian literature. In Persian literature, the tulip is often a symbol of love and suffering.
