Hi, I’m Mehdi Naghavi. An Iranian freelance calligrapher and visual artist. currently I am working and living in Istanbul, Turkey.

My mastery is about the calligraphy of Persian/Arabic letters and words. In my designs, I go where the curves of alphabet calls. My designs are freely and independently without any orders or deadlines. I try to give alternate meaning to words with the combination of Semantic and Personal memories, with love.

I've been selling posters since 2015 through some art shops in Istanbul, mostly to tourists. some of customers asked me to run an online store so they can order posters from their own countries. so I added a store for selling posters to my main website (www.mehdinaghavi.com) in 2020.
